What is Graze Technologies?
Graze Technologies is an early-stage Irish agri-tech business exploring how livestock monitoring and tracking technology can give farmers better visibility across their herds, reduce labour demands and avoid adding unnecessary work.
We are currently working with farmers across Ireland through our free pilot programme. We believe farmers understand their own challenges best, so we are speaking with and visiting farms operating under different conditions to learn where technology could genuinely make a difference.
Our research includes different types of livestock, including cattle, sheep and goats, as well as the different challenges involved in monitoring animals across beef, dairy, suckler and mixed farming systems.
A feature is only worthwhile if it solves a real problem, works reliably in Irish weather and grazing conditions, and provides enough value to justify its cost.
Developed with Irish farmers, not just for them
Technology can look promising in a demonstration but be far less useful during a normal working day on a farm.
These issues can only be properly understood by testing livestock technology in real farm conditions. Farmers taking part can help shape which problems we focus on and how the system fits into day-to-day livestock management.
Participation may include an initial conversation about the farm, sharing feedback on current challenges, helping us understand normal routines or testing early livestock tracking and monitoring equipment when suitable devices become available.
Farmers do not need any previous experience with agricultural technology. We are equally interested in speaking with those who have never used a livestock monitoring system before.
Join the free Graze Technologies pilot programme
We are looking for farmers across Ireland who would like to contribute to the development of Graze Technologies.
The programme is free for selected farms. Your feedback will help us understand how livestock technology can be developed in a way that works for Irish farmers.
If you would like to share your experience or take part in future testing, you can sign up for the Graze pilot programme here.
